A note from Pastor Gary… Sometimes, simple things provoke great mysteries. An example is the array of tables covered with grocery and vegetable selections that one finds on the deck outside the back Lobby doors of the church most Sundays.
The mysteries… Where does the food come from? How did it get here? Who is it for? How much can one take? What happens to the unused portions?
These questions spring from curiosity that is a natural response from observing the arrival of something that takes on the form of a minor, local miracle. Around 8:40 a.m. Sundays, a (mysterious) black truck pulling a black trailer stops at the front doors of the Lobby, a small swarm of people surround the trailer, and five minutes later, POOF … food appears on the tables on the deck and the black truck drives away!
What is going on? Well, the little food store on the back deck is one stop on a path that we can call a food chain, and our church is about midway along that path.
